Our Story

Review2Idea was born from a simple frustration: indie hackers spend weeks guessing what to build, only to launch products nobody wants. We believed there had to be a better way. App stores are full of real user complaints — thousands of 1-3 star reviews that describe exactly what people need. By applying AI to analyze these reviews at scale, we help product builders skip the guesswork and go straight to validated ideas. No more building in the dark.

We scrape hundreds of 1-3 star reviews from the App Store and Google Play, focusing on the most recent and detailed feedback.

Filter Noise

AI filters out spam, too-short reviews, and irrelevant content. Only meaningful user complaints survive this step.

Cluster Pain Points

Using semantic embeddings, we group similar complaints together to identify recurring themes and severity levels.

AI synthesizes the clusters into actionable product opportunities, complete with PRDs and marketing drafts.

Review2Idea is built by a solo indie developer who got tired of guessing what to build. After spending months on products nobody wanted, I built this tool to never build blind again. Every feature is designed by someone who actually ships products and reads app store reviews at 2am.
