Freezes constantly on my older phone

Chrome used to be my default browser, but on my older Android it freezes almost every time I switch tabs. Pages take forever to load and sometimes the whole app just closes without warning. I’ve cleared cache and updated it, but nothing really helps. It’s frustrating for basic browsing.

Crashes when I need it most

On my tablet, Chrome crashes constantly if I have more than two tabs open. It gets sluggish, then becomes unresponsive, then kicks me back to the home screen. Other apps run fine, so I don’t think it’s only my device. Really disappointing for such a major app.

Slow after the latest updates

After the last couple of updates, Chrome has become noticeably slower on my budget phone. Typing in the address bar lags, pages stutter while scrolling, and opening a new tab takes several seconds. It used to feel lightweight, but now it feels bloated and unreliable.

Battery disappears even when I’m not using it

I noticed my battery dropping fast during the day and checked usage stats. Chrome was near the top even though I barely opened it. Background activity seems out of control. I turned off sync and notifications, but it still drains more than any browser should.

Background drain is ridiculous

I like Chrome’s syncing, but the battery drain has gotten ridiculous. I’ll close all tabs, swipe the app away, and still see it using battery in the background hours later. My phone gets warm too. I shouldn’t have to force stop a browser every day.

Kills my phone before lunch

I stopped using Chrome as much because my battery was draining way too fast. Even with location off and fewer tabs open, it still shows heavy background usage. By lunchtime I’m already looking for a charger. A browser should not be one of the biggest battery hogs.

Too many menus to find simple things

The layout keeps changing and I can never find what I need anymore. Bookmarks, history, downloads, and settings all feel buried behind different menus. I just want a simple browser, not a guessing game every time I need to clear data or manage tabs.

Good browser, confusing interface

Chrome works okay for browsing, but the interface feels cluttered now. Tab groups, hidden buttons, and random popups make it harder than it should be to navigate. I often tap the wrong thing or can’t find features I used before. It needs a simpler option.
